At Lewe in Liefde, we believe in the power of community and collaboration. Our mission is not just to provide temporary relief but to work hand in hand with registered NPOs, compassionate individuals, and dedicated partners to create lasting change across South Africa.

We are committed to eradicating poverty in a sustainable way — empowering people to reclaim their dignity, build self-reliance, and open doors to new opportunities.

Through our various initiatives, we support over 1,800 people every month with essential services like our feeding scheme and the Koinonia Farm project. But we don’t stop there — this year, we’re excited to launch a Sustainable Farming Project. This initiative will focus on educating schools and communities about growing their own food, fostering food security, and nurturing a culture of self-sufficiency.

Every meal shared, every seed planted, and every child supported is a step closer to a stronger, more resilient future.
Join us in building hope and transforming lives — together, we can create a brighter tomorrow.

Some of our projects include:
  • Koinonia Farm
  • Sustainable Food Training

How can YOU help?

We are always looking for food donations of any sort.

We feed approximately 1800 people in Middelburg per month and house 15 people who we need to feed daily.

We warmly welcome volunteers to join us! There are always ongoing renovations and projects at Koinonia Farm, and we frequently host food sales pop-ups in Middelburg, Mpumalanga.

Donations help us get the things done. We accept cash and item donations, both help us house the people on our Koinonia farm and assist with our other fundraising projects.

Spread the word. Tell your friends, tell your local newspaper and reporters.

The more people we have out there speaking for us, the more we can get done
